i don't really know myself

er, well i do know, i just never know how to express it in a cohesive way. that's just the problem though, trying to present my identity as something that can be neatly categorized. why does it feel so taboo to like contrasting aesthetics? i'm allowed to like whimsical fantasy AND y2k grunge. i'm allowed to grow and learn and explore. life is too full of interest for me not to have been meant to discover them. i am meant to experience it all, the good and bad. i just have to express it my way.
